intellectual and physical assets associated with the Census and its
developments have been acquired by a new company. The new company
intends to re-launch the Census following a strategic review which is in
progress.

Historical Note FBS Engineering Ltd was founded in May 1998 to design and manufacture the FBS1 sports car, christened Census in late 2000. Following the completion of eight vehicles, three prototypes and five customer cars (all sold), between April 2000 and March 2003, an administrative receiver was appointed in August 2003. |
